This article outlines some basic questions for new authors.
Q: If I have a track with more than one version – do I have to put all versions separately in the Zip file? Or put in the Zip file a single
track with all versions, one after the other?A: Please put all versions separately into one single zip so that our AI would recognize all the versions.
Q: Is this necessary to upload original certification? Some of my tracks does not have MIDI, I don’t have projects for some of my tracks.
A: We know it might be a lot of work to do, but we’re afraid it is necessary. You can read this article: https://100audio.com/en/topic/478072/
Q: But as for me the most important thing is NO registration in any PRO, and NO registration in any youtube content ID service.
A: There’s nothing relevant to PRO in our contract. And we will never need a youtube content ID in China – for youtube is banned in China mainland.
Q: How to make withdrawals?
A: You can make a withdrawal on this page: https://100audio.com/en/your-profile/withdrawal/
And 20th is our monthly payment day, please make sure all your payment information is correct.Q: What styles of music work best for your platform? I have new age/ambient/spa, dance, chillout, Latin, techno/trance, Jazz/Funk, Christmas and a few others.
A: It is hard to tell which sells best but you can refer to our top sellers here:
https://100audio.com/en/?fwp_sort=sales_desc
It seems tracks with Chinese genre sell quite well due to our most buyers are from China. And tracks with emotions of inspiring or energetic or happy are also very popular.Q: What file format do you require? WAV, MP3 320 kb/s etc….
A: We require WAV formats. And we hint almost everything in the portal.
Q: Some of my tracks are created by using royalty free loops and beats from a company called Loopmasters. The license is that you are allowed to use these loops in projects without issue or further royalties. I can get a copy of that license. Or also show the imported track into Logic where it is mixed and mastered. Is that ok for 100Audio, or only tracks created 100% by synthesizers and real instruments?
A: If the tracks are created 100% by using royalty free loops and beats, I think they can hardly pass the review… If there are lead instruments, either MIDIs or real instruments, and the rest are loops and beats, then you can just export your lead instrument track + a screenshot as your certification.
Any other questions please create a new topic. We’d be happy to assist. -
