    Hello everyone,

I’ve got a message today in my dashboard:

You have items involved in violation need to be dealt with, please address this problem seriously and clear it off as soon as possible! After you have done with these violations, please file the application for appeal via this link.

and the most of the earnings was taken away.

The details through the link shows that certain items that under Worldwide Exclusive plan was found on other Chinese (I guess) streaming platforms:

    kuwo.cn
    kugou.com
    y.gg.com
    and others

Those platforms are NOT for licensing.

What’s wrong with uploading tracks to streaming platforms? How can I solve it? Is it possible to get all the funds back (not the part of that)?

    Thanks,
    Vladislav

    Hi,EpicKeyz

Since you are an exclusive account in China, according to the contract, you cannot upload it to other music platforms in China. This is a violation of the rules, and we have penalized your account.
The email notification you received has a link to appeal, click and submit the appeal, and all the specific follow-up processing methods are stated in the email.
Your violation will be processed after we receive your appeal.

So, If I want to promote my music by uploading to other music streaming platforms, so people have more chance to find my work and then license it through 100Audio, then is it still a violation? I don’t have any opportunities under exclusive agreement to showcase my music to the world except for 100audio search engine?

    Hi,EpicKeyz

The platforms mentioned above, such as kuwo, kugou, qq, etc., have commercial music sales business, not just display platforms. If your exclusive music is uploaded there, it is a violation of the exclusive agreement.
It’s okay to only use it for display, but if the other party’s website has a music sales business, it’s not allowed
If you remove the music from the other platform in time, we will consider mitigating the penalty as appropriate. The part of submitting the appeal in the email has specific instructions on how to do it. Please submit the appeal as soon as possible, otherwise the violation will always exist.

Is it possible to delete the tracks that is violating the exclusive agreement from 100Audio? If yes, will I get a refund?

    Hi,EpicKeyz

Part of the fine can be refunded for music removed from the other platform.
Or downgrading is called a non-exclusive account, but there are very few penalties returned this way.

    Hi, 100Audio-ZhaoShiru

Thanks for your answers! I decided to downgrade to non-exclusive worldwide agreement, but I can’t find through the website where and how can I do it. Please, provide me with that info.

    Thanks,
    Vladislav

    Hi,EpicKeyz
You should have received two notification emails with a link to appeal at the bottom of the email (Both emails are required to submit an appeal request)
    1. Click on that link.
    The link looks like this:
    2. Then select the option that cannot process illegal items.
    3. Select the downgrade to non-exclusive option in the follow-up processing willingness step, and then click Submit
We will process your violation after we receive your appeal.
