“Baigong Drum” is a pure percussion soundtrack tailored for documentaries, documentary images and film and television works. The rhythm and texture are constructed with various drumbeats throughout the whole process-low drums fall like rammed earth, dense plate drums rise and fall like knife workers, light tambourines echo each other, weaving a sound and scene picture scroll of craftsmen’s work. There is no melodic interference, only the rhythm itself is speaking: every sound is a dialogue between hands and things, and every hit is a scale of concentration. The whole song is filled with a strong flavor of Chinese style and traditional culture, like a camera aimed at an old master kneading dough, iron, carving wood-no hurry, no delay, a hammer. It is suitable to be used as the background music of food documentary, traditional handicraft feature film, craftsman documentary program, or any scene that needs to show “the beauty of work and the power of concentration. Primitive, rustic, calm strength.
