The music is humorous, simple and modern. It uses guqin, zither, Sheng, pipa, humor, flute, drum and other musical instruments. It is widely suitable for advertising, film and television works, Xianxia game music and so on.
The work is inspired by an article “two despicable monks of Shu” in the “white crane hall records” created by Peng duanshu, a writer in the Qing Dynasty. This article expresses profound truth through the story of two monks on the border of Shu.
There are two monks on the border of Shu, one is poor and the other is rich.
The poor monk said to the rich monk, “I want to go to the South China Sea. How about it?” The rich monk said, “what do you rely on to go to the South China Sea?” The poor monk said, “I only need a bottle and a rice bowl.” The rich monk said, “I’ve been trying to hire a boat down the river for several years, but I haven’t been able to go. What can you rely on to go to the South China Sea?” The next year, the poor monk came back from the South China Sea and told the rich monk about it. The rich monk looked ashamed.
The border of Shu is thousands of miles away from the South China Sea. The rich monk didn’t go to the South China Sea, but the poor monk did. People are determined to study. Can’t they compare with the poor monk on the border of Shu?
