As you may have read about us starting to deduct income tax from October 20th, 2018, and the explanation about income tax that you might be concerned.

We did some research and had a discussion. In order to encourage our musicians to create more quality original music, promote industry improvement, and let capable musicians profit more, we have decided to temporarily extend the period of income tax subsidy for your benefit, as we like to thank you for trusting 100Audio. After October 20th, your part of income tax will still be subsidized by 100Audio.

Take $100 selling price for an exclusive author as an example:

Normal deductions:

The money you get = ($100 – 10.7%Poundage) * (1 – 17%) * 70% = $51.88

With 100Audio subsidy:

The money you get = ($100 – 10.7%Poundage) * 70% = $62.51

Currently, 100Audio actually subsidizes 16.7% of an author’s income.
