So it’s now nearly the middle of June.. and zero sales…
I have to be honest, this is not what I expected.. even other sites in the past which I did not like generated at least a sale month, and those sites were 5-6 times the size of this one.
Not to mention where are the exclusive on-spec deals? I signed a contract to compose for client specific projects, and so far zero project proposals?
I had planned on uploading on a monthly basis to my catalog on this site, but with the zero sales and from what I can see, all you are doing is expanding your library of materials and signing on many new composers, and not taking care of the current ones.

However, most of our client are seeking for tracks that reflect optimistic and cheerful feelings. Besides, most of your tracks are more suitable for film and TV program, while many Chinese clients prefer works for advertisement. Here we would like to emphasize the tips we mentioned above.

That is my niche, imagine if all the authors on here created the same style of music? I create ambient and dramatic music, that is what I am known for, I could do comedy and horror, and happy kids music, but then where is the artistry in that?
I do appreciate your comments about advertising though, I had assumed you would be working with T.V more closely, in terms of studios and production houses, working with people who produce series and film.. If I’d known you were going to work with advertising and corporate, I would not have joined since my music is mostly not suited to that, and I do not enjoy creating bland and lifeless corporate music..
Mordern, I feel you man.. I never got the advance, and was never given an actual reason why I didn’t, but I didn’t care since I wanted monthly income.. I honestly don’t see the point of uploading monthly exclusive content if it’s not going to earn me more than a few bucks.. this is exactly why I stopped using envato, and I hate to say it, but this place is turning into the exact same thing..

Sales take time, on each stock music website ! I compose Full time since 1 year, I’m working as non-exclusive with all the famous site, I’m not able to make a living right now, but the key is just to be patient and keep upload ! But I have sales each months, and everywhere !Some guys have 3000 tracks, or are present since few years. The game has changed and it’s harder, but you should have to keep to work, to upload, and be patient, it’s the only way 🙂
