The music search at the moment seems heavily weighted in favour of new tracks – I experienced three sales in the first three days after I uploaded my first batch of tracks, then no more sales since that time (around a month now). At the moment a buyer can only sort tracks based on sales, price or date, with date being the default result. Would it be better for the search results to default first to a ‘most relevent’ search result so that tracks appear based on the search words entered rather than the date added? This would be more accurate for those who are searching for music as the music first presented to them would be based on their individual search terms.
Thanks!06/12/2019 10:50 #1110228Hi ModernMusic,
Well received your feedbacks. To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to clarify our searching queue for you.
1. Actually, the most relevant searching results will be presented if clients enter their individual search terms or if clients choose their preferred tags in the web’s left column when searching.
2. Normally, sales, price and date of audio works are important matters that client concern. So, we set them as our default sorting rules for saving clients’ time and improve their experience on 100Audio. It will be helpful for those clients who have no idea about any keyword and tags. For example, clients could find music that its price is in their expectation quickly when music are sorted by prices according to our market search and feedbacks.
3. Besides, as a transparent platform, those rules are fair for authors. For example, music could be sorted by uploading time. It will help authors and platform draw wider attention because new tracks reflect authors’ creativity and market trending.
Have a nice day!06/12/2019 17:20 #1111323Hi Leila, thank you for your reply. Are there any plans to add more sorting options in the future? Some of the large succesful Royalty Free libraries such as Pond5 and Audiojungle have many more ways of refining search results and these seme to be popular with customers.
Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, we will keep providing our authors and clients with more convenient services.
Have a nice day!06/14/2019 03:18 #1116229Hi.
I do not know how it is necessary and convenient, but I want to offer: the Search engine does not find the author if you enter his creative alias. I think this function will justify itself if to make it.
Pleasant day.
06/14/2019 10:47 #1117445Hi CRAFTALLAUDIO,
Thanks for your kind offer.
But could you explain “creative alias” for a better understanding?
06/14/2019 20:33 #1119170Hi, Logan.
If I enter my alias “CRAFTALLAUDIO” then the search engine 100audio finds nothing.
Search engine Google – find 🙂
Well, I guess it’s not critical. Thanks. Have a nice day.
06/17/2019 11:17 #1124198Hi CRAFTALLAUDIO,
When clients search for the music they need, they may be unfamiliar with the name of the artist. Then, according to customer feedback and market research, our website’s search engine now supports searching by track name or the keywords in the description blank.
Thanks for your suggestion anyway. We will constantly collect feedback and further optimize the filtering function.
Nice day!
06/25/2019 13:41 #1145638Searching option “Trendy” would be great. I mean in result best selling tracks during for example 1-3 month.
BTW. Why do some tracks have even 30 keywords, while your rules only allow 20 keywords?06/26/2019 10:58 #1148177Hi HOTSUNSET,
Yes, a track with 20 keywords at most is allowed on our platform now. The extra keywords will be deleted automatically in our systematic review.
While it is possible to find some tracks with more than 20 keywords here because those tracks were uploaded before this rule. But they will be gradually modified and corrected according to the rule as we stick to the same upload and review standards as always.
And thanks for your suggestion! We will keep optimizing ways of search.
Have a nice day!
