If I am an exclusive writer on 100audio, can I release music on music streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Joox, Tiktok, Resso, or iTunes and other streaming platforms? Because I found an exclusive account at 100audio that shares its music on streaming platforms, is it now allowed?

    Hi,brightestaudio

Tiktok is a Chinese company. We don’t recommend uploading to this platform. There may be cause copyright problems, involving violation of the exclusive agreement.

Our exclusive agreement is limited to music platforms that have business in China. If you upload it to companies like Spotify that have no business in China, we will not limit it.

    Thank you for understanding.

Can you give a full list of music platforms which allow be published?

    Hi,AndrewVovchyna

Since there are many similar platforms, we cannot provide a clear list. You need to confirm with the other platform whether they have business in China before signing the contract.

Then what if there is an author exclusive who uploads his music in other markets?

    #3098867

    Hi,brightestaudio

We only check the music platforms that have business in China, and we generally do not check other overseas platforms

Does that mean if there are author exclusive on 100audio they are allowed to upload to streaming platforms with a record that there is no business in China?

    #3099800

    Hi,brightestaudio

We generally check the following music platforms
All platforms under Tencent Music, such as QQ Music, Kugou Music, etc.
    NetEase Cloud Music
    tiktok etc.

We generally do not check foreign platforms such as youtube, spotify, etc. because they have no business in China

Information above is for reference only

That means that the author exclusively at 100audio can upload his music on spotify or youtube?

    #3101677

    Hi,brightestaudio

We do not restrict exclusive authors from uploading music on youtube and spotify, because these two platforms have no business in China

With that explanation, if the 100audio exclusive author uploads it on spotify or youtube, it won’t have a problem on the 100audio exclusive account ?

    Hi,brightestaudio

Both platforms are fine, we won’t check it

    Hey ZHaoShiru,

So about TikTok, does this mean that if I upload some clips there that include my own music which I’m also selling here under China-Exclusive contract I will be in violation? I wanted to use TikTok for promotional purposes of my music, like posting little clips of me in the process of composing etc and then point people to where they can purchase the tracks (I’d even promote 100audio as well).

    Hi,TalekeeperMusic

Because tik tok is a Chinese company, it has a lot of business in China. If you are the exclusive author, uploading to tiktok may have copyright issues. This is also clearly stated in the exclusive agreement. You cannot upload your works on music platforms that have business in China.
    Thank you for your understanding

So what if someone else from Europe purchases any of my tracks from Audiojungle, an Australian company, where I sell non-exclusively and then starts using that track on TikTok which is totally allowed by Audiojungle? Will I be held in violation? This doesn’t seem well thought out to me.

    #3108582

    Hi,TalekeeperMusic

What we limit is that you upload music to the tiktok platform and sell it yourself. Through something like audiojungle, it belongs to sub-authorization, so don’t worry about this problem.
Our exclusive agreement only restricts your personal upload of music on tiktok
