This is a very morbid and neurotic horror soundtrack (Psychological Horror / Dissonant Strings). The music abandoned the calm noise floor in favor of extremely sharp, distorted string techniques (such as strong glissas and discordant bow wipes) as the core element. Along with the subtle vocal sampling that seems to be whispering in your ear, the whole piece creates an extremely disturbing “madness”, as if some character’s spirit is gradually breaking down, or some inexplicable horror is approaching.
