Light Snow

The inspiration of “Lesser Snow” comes from the imagination brought by the solar term itself-although it may not really snow at this time, the name “Lesser Snow” is enough to make people think of the picture of fine snow falling lightly. Riff, the synthesizer that appears in the prelude, is tracing such a scene.
I have always had a love for snow, but my feelings for winter have gradually become complicated over the years. Perhaps because the winter days in Beijing are always particularly silent, except for the occasional sparrows and noisy crows on the branches, there seems to be less natural interest between heaven and earth.
So, after the dense Riff and dulcimer melodies, the music suddenly turned into a quiet paragraph-like the sudden stop of the wind, everything was silent, leaving only the bleak sight.
小雪
——愁人正在书窗下，一片飞来一片寒

《小雪》的灵感，来源于这个节气本身带来的想象——虽然此时未必真的飘雪，但“小雪”这个名字，足以让人脑海中浮现细雪轻落的画面。前奏出现的合成器Riff，就是在描摹这样的景象。
我对雪始终怀有一份喜爱，可对冬天的感受，这些年却渐渐复杂起来。或许因为北京的冬日总是格外沉寂，除了枝头偶尔掠过的麻雀和聒噪的乌鸦，天地间仿佛少了些自然的生趣。
于是，在密集的Riff与扬琴旋律之后，音乐倏然转入一个安静的段落——如同风声骤停，万物静默，只剩下目光所及的萧瑟。
