As we get older, the preference for the four seasons is quietly changing. Today, I am no longer as fond of autumn as before, especially in late autumn. The growing bleak is always wrapped in a contemplative melancholy.
“First frost” is the longest song in the autumn series, because I try to express “the delicate vitality buried under the cold” in a minimalist way, so as to echo the core of the whole album-the praise of nature and the traces of life.
At the beginning of the music, two motivational melodies written by synthesizers depict the aesthetic intention of “frost falls from the sky. Then the melody naturally flows to the second motive, and the flute and pipa intervene in turn, advancing and unfolding with repetition and change, as if the faint light in the cold color, circulating and continuing.
霜降
——停车坐爱枫林晚，霜叶红于二月花

年岁渐长，对四季的偏爱也在悄然改变。如今的我，已不再像从前那样钟情于秋天，尤其是深秋，那一份日渐浓重的萧瑟，总裹着令人沉思的怅惘。
《霜降》是秋季系列中创作时间最长的一首，因为我试图用极简的方式，表达“清冷之下埋藏的细腻生机”，以此呼应整张专辑的核心——对自然与生命痕迹的礼赞。
乐曲开头，以合成器铺写的两句动机旋律，描摹“霜从天降”的唯美意向。随后旋律自然流转至第二动机，箫与琵琶依次介入，以重复与变化推进展开，仿佛寒色中隐约可见的微光，循环不息、娓娓延续。
