Summer
— The air harvest is ripe, the wind is quiet, the grass is quiet and the insects are singing.

Long hot and humid, always look forward to cool. When the summer season quietly came, we knew that this difficult heat would dissipate.
The song “Summer” runs through the theme of the opening pentatonic scale melody, with piano and strings alternately laid out. After an off-key theme variation, the melody is taken over by the lute. At the end of the tune, the off-key theme variation echoes again, eventually falling on an open chord.
The initial inspiration came from watching a simple piano soundtrack in “The Legend of the Wulin” countless times. Every time I hear it, it can always evoke a lot of pictures and emotions. Therefore, I also choose to use simple melody and music style to express the circulation of summer and autumn alternation-morning light dewdrops, light clouds and light wind.
处暑
——气收禾黍熟，风静草虫吟

漫长的闷热与潮湿，总令人期盼着清凉。当处暑节气悄然降临，便知这难捱的暑气行将消散了。
这首《处暑》以开头五声音阶旋律主题贯穿，钢琴与弦乐交替铺陈。一段离调主题变奏之后，由琵琶接过旋律。曲终处，离调主题变奏再次回响，最终落在一个开放的和弦之上。
最初的灵感，源于看了无数遍的《武林外传》中一段素净的钢琴配乐，每次听到，总能唤起很多画面和情绪。于是，我也选择用简洁的旋律与曲式，去表达夏秋交替的流转——晨光露珠，云淡风轻。
