I)Why is identity verification necessary?

1、To guarantee the authenticity of all products on the platform and to prevent legal disputes of copyright, all sellers on the platform are required to upload an ID （passport or driver’s license） under their name.

2、When a musician sells music and applies for commission, his/her name on their ID card will be verified to make sure it corresponds with the information on the beneficiary account.

II)Personal or Company Identity Verification

Log in to the musician backstage, click “Profile”, and fill in the verification information.

Individual musicians will need to fill in their legal name and ID（passport or driver’s license）, and upload the front image of a copy of their passport or driver’s license.

Music companies will need to fill in their business license number in the mentioned place and upload a duplicate of their business license.

Either verification will suffice.

Notes for Uploading Certifications:

1、The picture shall be taken directly of the original certification, with no tampering or altering. It will need to be unbroken, with the watermark, letters, pictures and certification number all clear and easily distinguishable.

2、The front image of the certification needs to be horizontal and upright, rather than vertical or aslant.

3、The legal name and ID number of the applicant must match the submitted ID information.

4、The effective coverage of the certification must take up a proper ratio in the whole picture. Invalid parts cannot occupy too much space.

5、All certification must be original and digitally colored photos.

6、The image must be no larger than 2M, and come in the form of a JPG or PNG.

Notes for Uploading Business License Duplicates:

1、The company name and ID code must be consistent with the submitted ID information.

2、Important information such as the company name, cannot be covered by an irrelevant watermark, and the name code must be clear and distinguishable.

3、The image must be no larger than 2M, and come in JPG or PNG.
