How can I upload music files using an FTP server like every other music platform?
08/05/2019 09:46 #1240619Hi SingingDog,
Sorry, it’s not available to use FTP on 100Audio.
That is because we also need you to upload the original certification files when uploading your tracks.
And this is what we different from other platforms.
Have a nice day!08/05/2019 11:58 #1240950AND WHEN I DO THIS it gets declined and kicked back.
What am I doing wrong? This is too much work. If I can’t figure this out I’ll stay on the other platforms to sell my music library.
08/05/2019 14:04 #1241128Hi SingingDog,
That is because you provided wrong, unmatched or empty original certifications.
Too much work provides much protection for the profits for both of us.
You will not get in this trouble if you upload correct original certifications.
Hope that helps.08/05/2019 23:49 #1242269Ronan,
Thanks for the reply. I create various stem versions of the same arrangement with just background rhythm tracks, as well as lead instruments. This also includes edits of various lengths. When I asked about this earlier, I was told that one certification would cover all the versions based on the same arrangement. Is this no longer the case????
08/06/2019 09:45 #1243581`Hi SingingDog,
Yes, one certification would cover all the versions.
But the way to upload multiple versions tracks needs to upload all WAV files in one ZIP-file instead of uploading them separately.
Hope that helps.08/06/2019 13:04 #1243889Hi Ronan,
Actually, that does not help at all. You have a 150MB limit on zipped files, and if I zip my stem files and length options into one zip file, it will far exceed that limit. That’s why I was asking about an FTP site.
So what should I do? Your file size limit prevents me from doing what you suggest. There’s no FTP option. What do you suggest?
08/06/2019 13:35 #1243944Hi SingingDog,
To upload the tracks successfully, it’s better to upload no less than 6 versions of your track.
So you need to control the whole size of the ZIP of the track.
Besides, as for the original certification, it‘s better to use an mp3 file with a melody that is more obvious for that single track.08/07/2019 07:25 #1246260That’s fine – but the most I can fit of stems in a zipped file are two or three at the most. The .wav files usually run 50-60MB each.
So unless you have an FTP site that allows larger file sizes, I’m still stuck doing them essentially one at a time. So much easier with Audio Jungle, Pond5, ShutterStock, etc.
So is the only solution to upload a few at a time in each zipped file?

You can compress the music file to 32kb 16bit then upload again.
Have a nice day!08/07/2019 17:27 #1247864AND by compressing the file that much, it drastically will reduce the quality of the final product. Never mind, there just isn’t a solution for this issue. I’ll just upload a production music file when I’m not tied up focusing on my other platforms which are easier to work with.

We are trying to solve this problem now.
Or you can upload the lead version of the tracks first.
Have a nice day! -
