What kind of music does 100Audio accept?

Firstly, the author should provide the original certification. (How to get and upload my Original Certification?)

Then, authors should authorize the uploaded music without a time limit and restrictions.

Thirdly, authors should have full authority for all the uploaded music. For example, audio and video synchronization rights, public broadcast rights including but not limited to the existing laws and regulations of all rights categories.

Fourthly, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of authors and clients, the author should cooperate in the contract signing process.

Does 100Audio accept PRO registered music, like BMI for example? Is it OK to upload tracks in YouTube Content ID databases like Identify to 100Audio?

Yes for both questions. If our customer needs help in the future, we will contact the author for help, such as providing the corresponding account name and other information.

What is the uploading process?

Step 1: the author upload contents with detailed information including the name, description, etc.

Step 2: 100Audio reviewing team will approve the qualified music and authors could check the status at the backstage. For example, “draft” means that the music has been uploaded and waits to be reviewed. Authors would receive our emails with specific reasons and feedback if the uploaded music is rejected.

Step 3: Start selling. After being approved, your works will be online and wait for the sale.

Step 4: After clients purchase the item, the authors could clearly see the commission income at the “My Commission” menu by system’s automatic calculation.

Why are some of the works I uploaded already online and some are still under review?

We review the work in chronological order, uploaded by all authors. So this situation is normal.

How long will the reviewing time take?

Generally, the review time will take 2 to 4 working days. However, if the peak period is encountered, for example, the coming hot festivals, the review time may take a few more days.

If the author finds that the work has not been reviewed for a long time, such as more than one working day, the author can contact us in this post. We will see and give the author feedback.

Why my music is rejected?

Recently, some authors repeat upload their music time and time again. However, they found the tracks were rejected again and again and also wonder why always their tracks were rejected. And we had contacted some authors about the modification of their tracks but did not get a response for a long time. For the two cases, the review department of 100Audio has issued the formal process:

As the leading Asian digital e-commerce platform, 100Audio sticks to the same review standards as always even if we face increasingly works to review. In the meantime, we hope every author could take his own works serious and provide qualified works.

Note: 1. There is only one mp3 or wav audio file in certification.
2. The midi file is too simple or too short or there is only one instrument track of midi file

The above cases cannot be approved by the review

When the below cases are involved, we will pay more attention to the uploading of the involved authors.

• Lacking necessary files such as an original certificate or unmatched original certificate. If the track is lack of necessary files or attached with unmatched files, the system will reject and delete the track automatically. More about the original certificate please click here：page
• If the uploaded work has multiple products sharing one certification document, the system will automatically determine that it has not passed the review.
• The quality of works is generally unqualified. Some tracks’ melody is too simple. For example, one track only with drums would be not enough. Bad mixing work is another reason, which cannot satisfy the basic commercial standards.
• The whole track, in fact, is made by several same melodies.
• The tracks were uploaded with watermarks.
• Uploading duplicate works in different accounts or the same account is a malicious act of attracting traffic and constitutes unfair competition

If you are in the involved author list:

1. We will contact you if your tracks failed to pass the review, please modify it according to our guidelines.
2. If the author still uploads unmodified tracks, according to the duration, we decided:

•    If the author refuses to modify his tracks within 7 days and upload the unmodified tracks again, the review of his tracks will be delayed.
•    If the author doesn’t modify his tracks within 14days, the pre-review of our system will stop review your tracks so your tracks could not be reviewed manually.

3. If the author refuses to modify his works, we will disqualify the author from participating in Earning in Advance.

As for the Vocal songs:

1. We will email the author to modify his songs if he doesn’t upload his vocal songs as required. (Include but not limit: No lyrics, no vocalist, no composer, etc in the description.)
2. If we haven’t got the author’s feedback for more than 30days, the unmodified song will not pass the reviewing.
3. We will clarify the reason why the track fails the pass the review, please upload it as required again.r

So, hope every author can upload the tracks with all files attached instead of uploading again and again. When something wrong with the review of your tracks, please modify them according to the guidance we provide as soon as possible. Besides, please make sure every song you want to sell on 100audio is made with your musical talent and imaginative creativity.

How to remove/delete/edit the uploaded music?

The author could use this page for sending our applications. Our reviewing team will give you feedback after receiving your applications by sending you email notices.

Attention:

If authors want to delete or remove the published items, for non-exclusive authors, the author should inform 100Audio in writing via email 7 days in advance. The email content should list the detailed information including the reasons, the track name, link and etc. Then 100Audio will remove the requested items after confirming by email.

However, for China-Exclusive and Exclusive authors, in principle and if there are no copyright issues involved, 100Audio would not accept to remove or delete the track from authors’ portfolios. If the author insists on doing so, 100Audio will respect the author but such an author’s behavior will be considered as a unilateral termination. Our legal department will contact the involved author and follow up.

I want to be your exclusive authors, but I have authorized some works to other platforms, what should I do?

We recommend that the author could register multiple accounts. For example, some music has been licensed to other Chinese platforms, then the author can register for a non-exclusive account for those tracks with license problem, and then sign up for 100Audio’s China-exclusive or exclusive account.

Attention: An author can register up to three different modes of accounts. The registered email address of each account should be different, but other information such as display name and bank information can be kept consistent.
